Baumert Academy

Baumert Academy is a North Carolina–registered nonpublic K–12 homeschool operating pursuant to G.S. 115C-563(a). The Academy maintains compliance with North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education (DNPE) requirements for administration, instruction, attendance, and annual nationally standardized testing.

Instruction is parent-directed with individualized pacing and documented progress. Eligible upper-school students may participate in dual-enrollment opportunities with accredited institutions of higher education.

Institutional Overview

Baumert Academy was established as a privately administered homeschool to provide a structured, supportive learning environment with clear expectations, documented coursework, and regular progress reviews. The school year follows a traditional August–June calendar with flexibility for instructional days and enrichment.

Accreditation: Homeschools in North Carolina are not accredited by the State. Diplomas and transcripts are issued by the school in accordance with DNPE guidance.
